img0603-030P. At this time, Peppermint Place had seven bars, of which Laser Bar was the largest. It was located at the far end of Kaleidoscope, opposite the main entrance to that room from the box office and reception area. The doors visible at the end of the bar in this photo gave access to the staff rooms and commercial kitchen; they also provided a useful shortcut to the main room which enabled staff to avoid having to squeeze through the crowds! 1991; image taken March 1991 by David Newby.
