View of Salford looking towards the bridge. It has been thought this image dated to around 1879 and the Blackburn Improvement Bill, but this part of Salford at least has had drainage installed, the road surface cobbled (granite setts) and gas lighting installed, which means the image could have been taken after improvemants have been made.
