Salford 046
Porportedly 1882 image of Salford. Extreme left of the picture shows the entrance to the Bull's Head vault. This view is taken from the old Salford bridge. Beyond can be seen various shops and a street (possibly Penny Street or perhaps Lower Salford) paved with granite setts, which suggests the image could have been taken after Salford was improved.
