b022623. Cicely Bridge Mill from the canal towpath. rnThe mill was built in 1861-63 by W.B. Dewhurst. In the 1870's there were some 30,780 mule spindles and 612 looms. By 1900 the sons of John Baynes ran the mill. the mill closed in the 1980's. Date of photograph 1973. M. 31 Cic.
