Waterfall Mill 003
b22926. Looking Down Hertford Street, Mill Hill. toward Waterfall Mill. The mill was built by John Fish in 1851-52. The original building had about 40,000 mule spindles and 600 looms. By the 1890’s there were 73,288 spindles. The weaving shed was rebuilt in 1949-50, and automatic looms installed. The mill now has various uses. M. 31 Wat.
