b04350. Thomas was born at Billinge House, Blackburn in 1869. he was a poet and also helped in the presivation of Samlesbury Hall. Perhaps is greatest gift to blackburn was the Lewis Textile Museum which opend in 1934. He died at Whalley in September 1942, aged 73 years. G. 3. Lew.
