b04928. This is Leyland Mansions, King Street. rnNo. 2 King Street. The lead downspout bears the initials; "W.L.C 1741". This is William and Cicely Leyland who built the house. W. H. Hornby was to live in the house in 1830's 1840's and on the 29 August 1841 his son William Henry Hornby, Member of Parliament for Blackburn was born.rnThe Date of this photograph is 1958. M. 81.
