Hodgson Joseph 1783-1856 poet and reformer.rnHe was born of humble parentage in Rishton on the 13th January 1783, during the reign of George III, and of his early life little is known, save that he was a handloom weaver.rnJoseph Hodgson died on February 6th 1856 aged 73 years.rnrn
