'K' Company, 10th East Lancashire Regiment, British Northrop Second World War Home Guard. rnThe only names we have are: Captain H.G. King and Lieutenant Harry King. Formed in 1940 when there was the prospect of an invasion, the Home Guard was stood down in 1944 when the threat had passed. Over 1.5 million men volunteered for service during that time.
