b04747. The old Windmill on the canal side Eanam. The mill was built in 1822 by Samuel Derbyshire of Audley Hall and John Miller, Farmer. Later it was run by the miller John Polding but fell into disuse until bought by blacksmiths and wheelwrights W. H. and Houlker Watson. The top section of the mill was removed and used to build seven houses in Eanam. D. 72.
