b24599. The church was opened on 30 August 1877 by Cardinal Manning. It was built to a design by Messrs. Goldie and Childe. The cost was about £12,000. The Church was situated on Cumberland Street at the corner of Mary Street in the Audley district. The Photograph was taken in July 1979 from William Hopwood Street.
