b22786. Roe Lee Mill was erected in 1856-57 by James Pemberton and Sons. In 1861 it was working 480 looms which increased to 980 in 1862 and 1008 in 1872. Weaving ended in 1981. The photograph was taken from the Skew bridge of the mill in 1962. M. 31 Roe
