b04080. This ruin was the boyhood home of the local poet William Billington. Billington was born on the 3rd April 1825. He once was the landlord of the Poets Corner Public House on Bradshaw-street. He died January 3rd 1884 aged 57. Date 1975. D. 41 Roe.
