Prefabs Guide 001
b04056. After the war II the housing situation was bad. Prefabs were easy to construct and cheap. they were not a long term solution, but in some parts of the country survive to this day. In Blackburn there were prefabs built at Audley, Guide and Little Harwood, with the latter still standing. The photograph shows those at Guide being demolished. How much asbestos will be among the rubbish?
