Pioneer Mill 001
b22797. Pioneer Mill, Livesey was built in 1905. With 621 looms, 200 automatic looms were added in 1949-50. Weaving finished in 1964. The factory was taken over by Netlon, who made plastic mesh. The building has now been demolished. The photograph was taken from the canal bridge at Mill Hill, on the 8 May 1980. M. 31 Pio.
