The Peel Hotel on the corner of Barton Street and Feilden Street. Built on the site of the birth place of the first Sir Robert Peel, the pub is boarded prior to refurbishment involving the removal of the top storey. . The Peel, originally a Duttons pub, subsequently underwent various name changes.rn1987.
