Marsh House Mill Darwen 004
Marsh House Mill, Darwen.rnPickup and Company's weaving mill, built in 1905-06. Pickup had farmed Marsh house for many years, and had connections with coal mining and a number of a local companies. Pickup and Company ran the shed until it closed under wartime regulations in 1941. The mill did not reopen for weaving and was later occupied by the Hollins Brush Company. rnMike Rothwell.
