Lower Hollin Bank Mill 003
Lower Hollin Bank Mill. John Ingham's "Pich Noggin" shed of 1855-56. so called because of the building's previous trade of publican. Purchased by Cotton and Slater 1869, extended in 1871. A third extension known as Armenia Mill, leased to J.H Birtwistle and others. Lawrence and Clement Cottons, Boothman' s nephews took the mil in 1900, after 1906 the shed was amalgamated with Armenia Mill and the original name was dropped. rnMike Rothwell.
