Jepson, Richard 001
1912 image of Richard Jepson and family in a petrol driven motor vehicle. Jepson previously owned a steam-driven car. The Jepson family business started in the 1870s repairing and selling sewing machines. Richard ran a cycle repair shop, which also sold spare parts for cars. Eventually, the company expanded into Nova Scotia Mill, selling furniture and electrical goods. The site is now occupied by a B&Q store.
