b04724. The William Gladstone Statue on the Boulevard, unveiled on the 4th November 1899. It was moved outside the old Technical College in 1955 and again in 1983 to its present position on Northgate. Behind can be seen the parish church before it became a Cathedral in 1928. D. 58.
