Fountain Mill 005
Fountain Mill.Weaving shed erected 1906-7 by the Fountain Mill Co.Ltd. on the site of a former curling pool. Ashton, Frost and Co Ltd. following World War 2, Hindle, Warburton and Co Ltd took over. closed 1958. Thomas Warburton and Co Ltd, Haslingden, brifly reopened the mill in 1960 for making up operations. Sold to a firm of battery makers in 1964.
