b06088. Loom in the weaving shed of Fir Mill. In 1906 when built it had 332 looms The mill was erected by Richard Ryden. In 1983 the mill's 250 Lancashire looms were replaced 186 automatic looms. Photograph taken 1973. M. 31 Fir.
