b22634. Ewood Mill from Livesey Branch Road. The Mill was a Spinning and Weaving Mill built in c.1840 by John Turner. At that time there were 20,500 spindles and 474 looms. Weaving ended in 1962. When this photograph was taken, May 8 1980, the mill belonged to Redmayne and Isherwood (C.V. Yarns). M. 31 Ewo.
