Dutton's Brewery 002
b23113. The Brewery was established at Salford, Blackburn, in 1799 by Thomas and William Dutton. The tower Brewhouse, shown here, was erected in 1866-68. The brewery was purchased in 1964 by Whitebread together with 711 public houses and 100 Off Licences. The brewery was demolished and is now a Morrison’s store. The photograph shows a view of Duttons across the demolished Telegraph House and High Street in 1986. M. 781 Dut.
