Brookhouse Brewery 003
b05111.The brewery was built on Anvil Street, in 1891 by William Smith. It was sold to Thomas Whewell in 1901 who transferred to the business to Belle Vue near to Addison Street. The brewery was demolished in 1976 as part of the Anvil Street re-development. M. 781 Bro.
