Appleby Street, looking from what is colloquially known as 'Billy Forrest', which was at one time little more than a rough track. In the distance can be seen the former Foster, Yates and Thom foundry. On the left is the former Cotton Brothers Mill, and behind is the Navigation Mill complex. On the right is the former Aspden's timber yard. 1988
