Rawcliffe, Ted
Leading Seaman. Ted Rawcliffe. Killed, 19 December 1941 on HMS Neptune. the ship was caught in a uncharted minefield in the Mediterranean and sank with the loss of 764 officers and men. One man was saved after 5 days in the water.by an Italian torpedo boat.
