Trough of Bowland 007
b12963. A coloured postcard of cottages on the The Trough of Bowland, (see Image 006 for the monochrome). The road is the most direct route between Lancaster and Clitheroe. It was the route taken by the "Pendle witches" to Lancaster Castle for their trial in 1612.
