Viaduct, Hoghton 004
Cows grazing on the path by the side of the river Darwen. The mill race which turned the wheel at Hoghton Bottoms weaving mill can be seen on the left. The viaduct at Hoghton over the river Darwen, carries the Blackburn to Preston railway and Built 1844-1846. It is 116ft (35.3 M) with 3 semi-circular spans of 65ft (19.8m).
