1. Isherwood, William Albert
Corporal William Albert Isherwood, 24 years, reported missing July 1st 1916, reported by the War Office as killed on that date. Before enlisting he was a hairdresser, employed by Mr Hacking of Accrington. His widowed mother lived at 323, Shear Brow, and William's brother, Fred, drowned on H.M.S. Hampshire.
