1. Coupe, Albert Edward 01
Private Albert Edward Coupe, Gordon Highlanders, died from the effects of gas poisoning. He enlisted in 1915 and was formerly employed at Garden Street Mill and had played for Haslingden Road Football Club. He was a well known sprinter who had, at one time, been a member of Bolton Harriers.
