1. Cross, Edwin
Mr Edwin Cross, from Pleasington, was one of the passengers lost through the sinking after collison of the Elder-Dempster steamer S.S.Burutu. Edwin had served with the West African Expeditionary Forces. As an accountant, he had been more recently engaged in accountancy in connection with the cocoa and rubber plantations wrested form the Germans.
