1. Aneley, John
Quarternaster Sergeant Aneley, 9th Lancers had been in the Army for 19 years and had spent time in India and South Africa. he declined a Commission but was recommended for the Distinguished Conduct medal after the battle of Mons. He was the brother of Signaller Tom Anelay/Aneley.
