Image date is uncertain but Car Lines motor accessory shop (at Number 90 Whalley Old Road) was still listed in the 1982 edition of Yellow Pages, but was listed at Philips Road in 1983. In the image can be seen bricked up houses, meaning demolition would soon follow.
