Witton Mill 004
B22918. Witton Mill was built 1851-52 by W.R. Woods and henry Marsden. It had 356 looms in 1854 increased to 447 looms. A number of house were built on Landsdowne Street by the employees. Parts of the Mill have been demolished. The photograph shows the mill from Stancliffe Street and was taken on the 8 May 1980. M. 31 Wit.
