Wheatsheaf Hotel 005
Wheatsheaf Hotel, looking towards Darwen Street along St. Peter Street across Back Lane (Mincing Lane). The decorated hearse belongs to the undertakers situated on the corner of St. Peter Street. Later, this site was occupied by the Olympia Cinema (which began life as a roller skating rink) which in turn became the Locarno (Mecca dancing).
