Wellfield Mill, Bastwell. rnThe second weaving shed built by James Astley, erected 1867-68. Sold to T and J. E Fielding of Belle Vue Mill 1979. Haworth Brothers and Co. Ltd, took over after the death of J.E fielding in 1915. Weaving ended 1955-56. the mill has since been used by Thomas Reeder Ltd and associated companies for the manufacture of plastics, reels etc. rnMike Rothwell.
