Tram 38 013
1947 image of Blackburn tram no. 38. The tram is travelling through Church and Oswaldtwistle towards Blackburn. To the left of the tram can be seen the entrance to a canal warehouse of the Leeds Liverpool canal. The warehouse subsequently became a listed building, but was recently gutted by a mysterious fire. The buildings and shops seen to the rear of the tram have long since been demolished to make way for alterations to the road layout.
