Stoker's Arms 002
This group seen in this image is thought to be standing in front of the Stoker's Arms at number 6 Islington. The name of R W Cowell, licensee over the doorway, is probably Richard William Cowell, who held the licence for a couple of years either side of 1912. The pub was first open in 1878 and is now demolished. The group was presumably photographed prior to departure for a destination unknown. The flowers seen in some buttonholes may show political allegiance.
