b24590. The church was opened on 30 August 1877 by Cardinal Manning. It was built to a design by Messrs. Goldie and Childe. The cost was about £12,000. The photograph was taken in July 1979 from Cumberland Street. St. Joseph's school can been to the left of the Church. J1 Jos.
