283 42, St Peter's Church, Darwen. formally Holy Trinity Church. The church was built 1827/29 and consecrated September 1829. It was original dedicated to Holy Trinity, but this was changed in 1972 to St. Peter when the parish merged with two others. Image taken in 1991.
