b04075. Spring Hill House. Formerly the residence of the Anderton family, who built the factory on Spring Hill which overlooked what is now the Boulevard. Spring Hill Cotton Factory was erected in 1797, was the second cotton mill to be built in the town, the first being at Wensley Fold.
