b22957. Spring Bank Mill was a spinning mill built in 1860-61, with 9,000 mule spindles which was later increased to 13,777. The Mill was later used to manufacture roller blinds. The building is no longer there. The Photograph was taken 8 May 1980. M 31 Spr.
