Roe Lee Old Mill 005
b22962. Roe Lee Mill was erected in 1856-57 by James Pemberton and Sons. In 1861 it was working 480 looms which increased to 980 in 1862 and 1008 in 1872. Weaving ended in 1981. The photograph shows the watch and railway line which was part of the original siding into the mill. M. 31 Roe
