Primrose Hotel public house, on Primrose Bank. The empty houses on either side are indicative that the pub is doomed to be swept away in the accelerating wholesale demolition and clearance drive that befell Blackburn in the 1960s.rnFirst open in 1858, and will have closed its doors for the final time around 1965.
