Phoenix Mill 003

Phoenix spinning mill was built in 1817 and enlarged in 1822. It had, in, 1843, 10,800 spindles and 168 looms were installed. by 1899 there were 24,850 mule spindles. The mill later became Cupal, Pharmaceuticals. The buildings have now been demolished and a builders merchant is now occupies the site.
