Peppermint Place Refurbishment 004 img0535-026P Peppermint Place nightclub Peppermint Place nightclub; Refurbishment; Kaleidoscope; Food Bar Peppermint Place consisted of two separate clubs, each of which was largely self-contained and could operate independently of the other. The smaller of the two rooms – Kaleidoscope – underwent a major refurbishment in early 1991. This photograph shows the new Food Bar under construction. This was in the bottom left-hand corner of the room, farthest away from the main foyer and reception area. The photos Refurbishment 013 and 020 show later stages of the work from the same spot.
