Morley, John 002
Morley was a classic 19th century Liberal who was a friend and biographer of William Gladstone. rnHe held several offices of state. Morley was an anti-imperialist (who became Secretary of State for India), a supporter of Home Rule for Ireland, and who resigned from government in 1914 in oppostion to Great Britain joining in the war on the side of Russia.
