b002178. Lord Street Showing the Old Post Office. It was opened in June 1880 and built to plans by Williams of London at a cost of about £7,000. It became the snooker hall with such players as Alec Higgins and Denis Taylor playing there. It was demolished in the 1960's to make way for the Town Centre Development.
