b02429. The Lord Nelson at Salford. The road to the left is Penny Street. It was originally known as the Bulls Head before being demolished in the 1840's and rebuilt as the Lord Nelson it was knocked down in the 1960's. This was Dutton house, the photograph shows the famous Dutton OBJ sign (Oh be Joyful) which was a dark beer. Note the "Bubble Car" leaving Penny Street. Date of photograph is 1962. M. 851 Lor.
